The fischer FireStop Foam is a one component polyurethane foam which is self curing via the absorbtion of moisture from the atmosphere. The foam has excellent adhesive properties joining wood, brick, stone, cement. plaster wall boards, hard board and metal surfaces. Foam sets in a semi-ridged structure, fixes firmly, yet yields to movement and vibration. It is ideal for areas where up to 4 hour Fire Rating is required. Tested to BS EN 13501 & BS EN1366-4, the foam is perfect for sealing linear gaps in walls, ceilings and floors. Insulating pipes and electrical installation, sealing window / door joints, sills and frames.
