Prepare a base – Your Insulated Garden room must be built on a firm, level base to ensure the longevity of the building and to prevent the woodfrom distorting. We recommend either concrete, concrete slabs or ground screws. The base should be slightly smaller than the external measurement of the building, i.e., the cladding should overlap the base, creating a runoff for water, to prevent it from pooling underneath the building. Delivery and Installation Our Insulated Garden Rooms are delivered and installed by our professional team. On the day of delivery, a member of the team will contact you to provide an estimated arrival time. Your new garden building will be delivered on a 3.5 tonne flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building from the delivery location into the installation position. Treating your new building Your Insulated Garden Room is delivered untreated and will require a coat of preservative and a waterproof treatment as soon after the installation as possible and annually thereafter.
